1957 Porsche 356

45 bids and the final price was $57,200.

Is that the car James Dean killed himself in or something?

Wikipedia says he died in a Porsche 550 spyder in 1955, so...
I'm with you guys.

"This Speedster was found as is after sitting outside for a unknown number of years. It was pulled from an old Roosevelt estate on the North Shore of Long Island. It is believed to have been a race car owned by the Roosevelt's and run at Bridgehampton Raceway in the late 50's to early 60's."

It's still a pile of junk, missing the majority of its parts. I sure as hell wouldn't pay almost 60 grand for it... not even if it was gold plated.
