But with 28,000 miles? I'd buy it and put some good Kore suspension parts under it and have one sweet truck. Plus a friggin 5-speed.

Here's yet another reason why our 2nd gen Ram section is the best part of this site:

On a related note, can you guys answer these couple questions for me?? The 2nd gen Dak guys aren't very helpful at all, nothing like us guys anyways

Maybe no one that has gotten on since yesterday knows anything about their trucks.

I would think that the tv cable would be identical to a Ram since it's the same motor and transmission.
Don't know anything about the cv joints.

its the shifter cable for the column shifter sheriff, I was lookin it over and that looks pretty straightforward... I'm more concerned about the cv shaft, mainly if I'll have to split the control arms on it to get the new one in... Although I just fired up my trusty alldata and it shows that its a hub bearing removal type deal, just like our solid axle trucks...

He's puttin it in a truck show in the morning, wants it fixed today so he can clean it up tonight... it's my own damn fault for procrastinating, the trucks been parked in my driveway since sunday

well I got er mostly fixed ... I couldn't get the hub nut off with my small air compressor so I'll have to take it down to the old mans and use his... I got the rest of the shaft out though so he'll have to drive it like that for a day or 2. The shifter cable was a joke to change

well guys i finally got my permit monday so now i can drive legally! I got to have someone in the car that's had their license for 4 years but that's not a big deal... Been mostly drivin around with my mom in the corolla so far but i got my truck towed to the garage today to get the chassis checked out. Hopefully have it on the road in a couple weeks
