Perogies are big up here too w/ all the German/Polish families. My family always has perogies and I love them w/ about anything.

That's because good German and Swedish food isn't found in this part of the country. Everything here is garnished with Jalapenos.

It took me a while, but I really grew to enjoy the food here, in the Southwest.

There are a few good German communities here in Texas that are known for their food, and even Alsatian near an Antonio. Don't know about any Swedish areas (miss my time working in Sweden back n the 80's).

I'll have to check it out (with jalapenos... )
