^^ This is a MAJOR problem. So much non-essential bullcrap added to each and EVERY technical thread, pages and pages of off-topic discussions, it's almost impossible to use the search function and find anything! Rant over.

 

I also think that the search picks up stuff that is in people sigs. But I'm not certain on that.

 

Learn to search. It's not that difficult. If you're under 35 that just gives me another reason to laugh when people call Gen-Y "Tech Savvy".

 

^I can slap a PC together in less than an hour. Doesn't that count for something?

Maybe you could enlighten me on your search methods that produce fruitful results....I just did a search for "shocks". Came up with 500....500 threads which may or may not have the info someone is looking for....just sayin. It's easier (and less work, I know) to just ask a question than to spend who knows how long going through each of those 500 threads to try and find the info your looking for....just playing devils advocate here. I can understand why no one wants to use the search function or it says "I searched but did not find....".. I hate using the search function. Even advanced search does not give you many more fields to narrow the search. Unless I'm missing something entirely.

Google actually does a better job than the search engine here, is much more powerful, and less restrictive. You can structure your search such that it only searches dodge forum as well:

search terms site:dodgeforum.com

 

^and that trick still works great even after all these years.

i think i got pulled over by someone from the epa while driving my ramcharger. they wanted to make sure all my emission equipment was there. they gave it a once over and it must have all been there. i didn't get a ticket.
