wtf is up with this weather? everything outside was a skating rink. it took me about 30 minutes to clean the ice of my truck and i broke one of my ice scrapers in the process. power was also out for at least an hour here.


ice on my truck was about 1/4" thick

it even stayed attached to the hood when i opened it.

it started raining around 11 am today, then changed to sleet shortly thereafter. we have a good 1/4-1/2" of sleet on the ground, it was just snowing a couple minutes ago. now its completely stopped. supposed to be wicked nice out tomorrow with temps in the low 60's.

lol. i would have used my heat gun but had no power.

i was just at my sisters house and looks worse over there

this was on the ground when i got there

this fell while i was taking my boots off.

and this is the neighbor behind my sisters place.

i didn't really look up when i parked the truck. not long after that picture was taken i moved my truck to somewhere safer.

Yeah it can do some damage. I lived in Ottawa in 98 and had a 10-12" branch break off a huge tree and onto the roof deck. It was an old masonry/timber home but still shifted some and cracked all over. Thankfully it was a rental.

Any of ya'll Canadians ever run across Mike Holmes? I love that guy! Need more shows here in the U.S. Can't even watch them online due to Geographical Restrictions....
