I was some work on my 76 f150 a couple years back, and ended up changing the battery. So, i went on some backroads. I heard a loud thud and went home. Well, i never put the battery holder back on, and. my battery pushed the negative into the fan, thusly severing the negative in half.
I guess I should buy extra thick oil filters then lol, 90% of the time my oil psi is at 65-75 when warm on my mech gauge.
Actually, I think max pressure on the filters is well north of 100 PSI. I had a honda that the oil pressure regulator stuck.... so, the oil system was constantly getting max pressure that the pump was capable of putting out. Which was probably better than 300 PSI.... The filters looked REALLY interesting. Wish I still had the pics.
