Sometimes I wonder about our priorities and ideology...
I guess if it's big corporations at fault they just get slapped with a fine...

Couldn't agree more.

Had to leave wife's car at Wal-Mart in a town about 10 miles away. Could not get key to turn to start it when we came out. Freaking ignition switch is jacked. Went back with car dooly this morning to get it, but parking is so crazy I could not get it loaded. I did find a way to unlock floor shifter. Gotta wait until later tonight to go back to load it up. Grrrr....

So spent the day running conduit to hook up air compressor and welders. Could not find fish tape to pull wire. I hate not being able to find sh@t. Cleaned up and sported spare parts into new boxes and sort on different shelving units, cleaning out some other junk I am throwing away, and decided to install another shelf by new electrical pane. Reached for torpedo level......and saw dang fish tape hanging on pegboard behind it.

Ever had a day when it seems like you get nothing done?

i hate new cars. my aunt has a 2009 Hyundai santa fe with about 60,000km on it and on of the rear wheel bearing sounds like it is shot. it took a long time to cool off and it barely took a trip around the block for it to start warming up. now she has to wait until Monday to see if it is covered under warranty. it is now sitting in our driveway waiting. my aunt lucked out that my mom was in a good mood and lent her one of her cars. i am not sure her car would have made it home without a tow.

My guess is warranty is out based on years. Mileage is probably within warranty range, but they do the "whichever comes first" crap.

This one has been a good car. About 150,000 miles on it. Just strange that it just would not turn in ignition lock. Can't hardly work on it there, but have to get it home. Probably go shortly. Traffic should be less so I can back up to it.

But everything on the Ram is doing great! (Hyundai forums suck.....)

i think it has a 5 year 100,000km warranty which means it should still be covered. i think if anything this would be the last year of the warranty so it she might be lucky it happened now. if all else fails she still has her dodge caravan. sell the 2009 and keep driving the 2002 or something like that.
