i use to try keeping my stuff clean until i started having more bikes than i was allowed storing inside. i got 5 bikes sitting in my work area right now and about 9 in the back yard. the rusty one just happens to be one of my favorite bikes. built by me with the ability to go just about anywhere even though it weighs 50lbs.

Since we're posting bikes....

08 Huffy B1, stock except the sick-*** Sta-tru front wheel with Shimano hub.
$75, tire and tube installed.
And I understand about the not having enough room, I've got 3 bikes that are rideable plus my old 24incher I had when I was 12.

I've got close to 200mi on the damn thing.

I just keep my stuff clean. Though for the longest time I was slacking cleaning the running gear, and the cassette and chain show it.

It also seems that every time I take it to the trail, I break something.

200miles? thats it? i use to bike at least 50 miles a month. the only thing that use to really destroy parts was the salt in the winter. in the summer i would pretty much rebuild the thing. i would not be the least bit surprised if i had all the parts to rebuild it 1 or 2 more times.

I used to ride a lot more. Never to get anywhere, just to ride.
I've been using my 68 Flyer 3-speed more now. 1800 on that one. Granted, 1600+ was already on it when I got it from my uncle.
