sounds like a low mileage bike. if any of my bikes had less than 1000miles on them i would be very surprised. some of the miles i have put on my bakes where pretty hard miles. that black and red bike i posted a pic of i found in a ditch full of water. i filled the tires and fixed it up and then took it off a jump and kind of smashed it and myself up a bit. i let it sit for a bit and them fixed it and drove it as a tow rig for my trailer.

I keep breaking things on my China bike.

It was $150 back in 08, or was it 07? I forget...
It was fine until the second mtn trail ride, where I taco'd my front wheel. Went last year for my birthday, didn't break anything on my bike, but my dad ripped a pedal out of his crank and it seems my rear wheel bearing is trying to go out.

I want this:

i have destroyed many derailers, chains and bearings. had many chains just snap under how much torque i put on them.

i want a bike that looks similar to a dirt bike. came close to building one

That's why I want a good bike to begin with, so that way I can justify the cash on broken stuff.

when you got no money you usually have lots of time to pull parts off other bikes. i even use to have buckets to store spare parts off bikes i had stripped.

True. I don't have much cash at the moment either, but being left on the trail due to a used part is an absolute b1tch and a half.
