Damn, I have done some stupid stuff but, not sure I would trust a pickup to catch a plane. That is actually amazing. I really wouldn't think it would have done it. The airport owes him a new truck or maybe Nissan. Truly amazing.

I had to convince myself it really happened... You'd think it would squat more with the front end of a passenger jet sitting on the bed....

Meh, I'm still not convinced. Everything is too well done to have been and accident.

I call BS. That plane comes in for a landing at 150 mph. That truck ain't got the *** to do 150. That plane also weighs upwards of 60 tons. It would not catch a 60 ton airplane's front landing gear perfectly in the bed of the truck at 150 mph. No way, no how.

Gotta agree with ya there. Any slower than about 135 mph, and the plane doesn't land, it crashes...... no matter how control surfaces are configured.... now, when the truck actually CATCHES the plane..... rear wheels are on the ground.... but, you also see the plane still in the air, and the truck accelerating past it....... Not gonna happen.......

Exactly, go to slow, the plane stalls and just drops, not lands. That trucks tires would've blown out, too. That's 35 tons pushing down in the bed of that truck. That thing would have blown tires, it would've bottomed out, bent the axle. All sorts of stuff. More would've happened that a little tire squeal and the rear getting a little squirrely. Total bs or hoax. Whatever you want to call it.
