The Official 2nd Gen RAM Forum OT thread
Guys, I was a "Blue Nose" in the Navy (I don't remember the artic feeling this cold). But hey, I'm older than dirt now.
Cranked up the 5.9 gasser at zero and warmed her up (no block heater), ran several miles to the store. It cranked fairly easy and made 190, tranny shifted normal.
I have a trip for Wednesday about 150 miles so cranked the kerosene burner up by end of day (heater), made oil pressure to turbo, gone in 60 seconds and took it on a jaunt and ran her at temp 190, all shifts normal.
Today we made it to zero and tomorrow is a balmy 12*F. I hope all have faired well, and I may need to think about a block heater for the gasser.
One has to have options. K.

Her current area offers very little protection from the wind.
Mine **** and moan, and THINK they want to go outside. Right up until I open the door for them.... Then they look at me like "What? Are you stupid? Open the door to the WARM outside."
They go out, and do their business, but then, they want RIGHT back in.

We have to practically push the old lab off the porch and make her go take care of business.

They are still young yet. More energy than they know what to do with. If I could find a way to bottle, and sell it, I would be a wealthy man.
