How old is the gas in it, and did you clean out all the jets in the carb, might have sucked up some foam from the filter into a jet and clogged it up
Gas is no more than a few weeks old at max. We premix only a few gallons at a time. It has an aftermarket k&n (got rid of the stock foam). Carb was completely cleaned. Thanks for the suggestions.

Yeah I did the finger over the spark plug hole (and felt air coming out) but it skipped my mind to try to hold it there instead of just feeling the air. Oh well. And your probably right about the blown crank bearing. This motor I have on here is junk anyway. When I got the thing there was jb weld on the case, when you pull the clutch in the clutches are still slightly engauged even though the cable is adjusted. The clutch basket has markes where the clutches went into the clutch basket fins. The clutch basket rod has play. The gear selector rod is bent as well... imho, the motor is junk and isn't worth the cost to have it fixed right. Heck the rear bearings went the week I bought it to begin with and tore up the axle. Talk about **** luck. Didn't find out about the innards until I thought the clutches went. Instead the axle just seized.
Anyway, since I didn't think the motor was worthy, I decided to search high and low on ebay, craigslist, local paper etc... for anything basically as a good bottom end. Long story short I found the deal of a lifetime through a friend who use to race blasters professionally. I plan to just rebuild that motor instead of mine and call it done.
