ya. i got a carter that i have been thinking about trying but i would need to get the right air filter housing or modify my spare base plate because it is smaller than the one on my holley. i think it came off a 383.

carter afb 4299s. it might be a tiny carb. i think it is ether a 575cfm or 625 cfm carb.

Looks like it. I know even the primaries on my TQ are slightly larger.

ya. they are a bit small but it is suppose to be good on gas. my dad use to run it on his built 440 when he was trying to get good gas mileage.
