Built in fan doesn't kick on by factory defaults until 60* Celsius. I HAVE seen other laptops run hotter too, the HP, on normal usage, reaches 85* with no problem, it ALWAYS has to have a heating pad, I don't dare to compile on it.
I used to run the T23 hotter when I overclocked it, but I don't overclock it anymore. Just wasn't worth it.

It's my desktop.
The thing that bugs the crap out of me is that my laptop has a cooler idle than my desktop.

Funny thing is, the T23 has the Pentium III with MMX and 64bit bus, and UDMA6. It can compile software FASTER than my Intel Core 2 Duo, and AMD Phantom x4 (quad core). It also can handle multimedia very well.
