9.14 MPG with the truck in my sig.

All in-town driving. No towing. No racing. Just conservative "oh damn, fuel is $4.00 a gallon" driving.

consistent 16-18 with a 96 dodge reg cab short bed with 5.2 auto (with a once ****hole trans). We will see what the new one does for me. 30% town and 70% highway at speeds around 75-80 to add to the mix.

WELL, SOME GOOD NEWS AND BAD... THE BAD NEWS IS THAT I'M NOT GETTING 32MPG WITH MY HHO GENERATOR... THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT AFTER DRIVING OVER 1,200 MILES I CAN SAFETY SAY I'M MY AVERAGE IS 21MPG!

Call bs if you will but those of you that have done your homework will know that it is possible! and there is proof out there

OK I'll call it BS. You could go to MIT and not come up with those numbers!

I got my truck in oct of 07, I got 10.1-10.5mpg city with it.
New front bearings, rebuilt the tranny, new tires 265/75/16, new catalytic converter, and new o2 sensors (added other new parts, but don't think they contributed to mpg).
Now I get 13.5-14 city. I used to hyper drive (gliding as much as possible) and I could get 14, now i just drive normally, and get a consistant 13.5. I haven't checked lately, so I am sure running the AC all the time hurts.

Default can't do any better

I have a 98 ext-cab 2wd 360 auto k&n fipk, accell coil, flowmaster 40 series suv advance auto cat tune up plugs wires cap rotor cam sensor pickup still can't beat 13.5 daily driving I get the same if I stomp it every chance I get or drive it like grandma. New tranny $3800 a couple weeks ago and now my cat is clogged again. Gonna order magnaflow after work today. First dodge for me, don't like the mileage butt the power is good enough to keep tire smoke behind me.

I can claim 23mpg if I used the Lie-O-meter over my head.

do whatever makes you feel better. but post up those mileage logs with the Odo readings, gallons of gas added, and adjust for your tires and try to use the same station and pump each time.
