Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
'00 Extended cab, short bed, 4X2, 318. Got about 14-15 mph bone stock. With a K&N drop in filter, I've gotten up between 16-18 out on the highway and 14-15 in more city type driving.
Of course driving habits can also affect gas mileage as well...

1996 Dodge Ram Sport Reg. Cab with toneau cover.
The last long trip on the interstate, I got 18 MPG (which is typical for my truck). This was with the a/c on and driving as fast as I could get away with (65 and well beyond). 360 CID, auto, 3:55 gears.

2001 Dodge Ram QC 1500 2wd 318 CID 5spd, 11.5 city & 15 hwy. I do about 90% city driving and average 12.5 MPG. The absolute best I have ever calculated on the higway was 16.5 MPG. BTW, my window sticker said 14 city -19 hwy. Keep dramin'!

They are eight banger trucks, not econo nip mobiles
I don't care or worry about my 360 mpg, or my 460 ford, or my 73 Charger's 400

Got a 1998 1500 Short-Bed Quad-cab 4WD. 360 CI plant, and the auto trans. No major mods except for Summit Turbo exhaust, and a Pacesetter AIR F/X intake. Before install of the air intake I was getting an average of 11.5 mpg. After the install, I checked my MPG from Ely NV to Las Vegas (July 21, 2005 at approximately 8 AM) and averaged 15.6 MPG on mid-grade (88 octane) with the A/C cookin full tilt boogie! Several sensors have also recently been replaced, but only OEM replacements used. Again, nothing special!

My overhead computer says 8.9 mpg average city and highway. The fuel gauge seems to agree. I'll check it myself on my next road trip, I'm hoping for 11-12 highway. [sm=gears.gif]
I've just recalculated my mileage and am very happy. thats about 70% hoghway.
16MPG. not too bad. i miscalculated originally and was actually getting 12MPG.
the entire increase is due to the new flowmaster 40 series exhaust i put on. single 3: inlet, dual 2.25" outlets.
i also changed the air filter, air grabber, and pcv valve. very happy
v6, 1996, reg cab, short box.
