Hey guys, This is Kevin @ Hughes Engines. We track our online sales and have noticed that we get a lot of referrals from this forum. THANK YOU! I am currently looking into becoming a sponsor on this site and I am going to try and spend a little more time on here answering questions and responding to comments. I can't do it as much as I would like to but I will try to be a little more active. One thing we pride ourselves on is our tech support and customer service. We spend more time with customer and answer more technical questions than anyone else in our industry. I don't like hearing negative comments on either of those things. Hopefully I can respond to those and try and help correct whatever issues come up when there is a problem. However, people who complain about our service or products and have never even dealt with us...... are pretty low on my list. You can e-mail me directly at Hughes Engines with any questions or comments at kevin@hughesengines.com if you need a quick answer or suggestion. I will try to watch on here for situations where I can lend a hand or offer an idea but it may not be as quick as you would like. Anyway, I look forward to spending some time here and to hearing from you guys in the future. Have a great day, Kevin

Sounds like a real proactive stance your taking. I mean this with the utmost respect, I certainly hope it's true. For the most part your company gets great reviews, however there are those certain instances where the customer service sounded like a nightmare. Again, I'm saying this so it can be improved upon and not to bash or slander you and your company. Best of luck and welcome to the DF. I look forward to hearing what "special offers" you have for us.

I just ordered the plenum kit with gaskets and bolts from you and everything was there and worked awesome! Besides slight gouges in the plenum plate, I didnt have any complaints. The gouges were nothing that would affect the sealing up anyways. I have heard of nightmares tho on here. I put the decal on my back window, so you guys must have done good to me!

+1. I didn't care for the plenum gasket that came with the kit so I got a different kind, but the rest of the kit was fine. I also had the gouges, so I sanded them down and it wasn't an issue worth complaining about since they didn't affect the seal. I guess the quality control guy was on break when they packages ours.

i actually have a question for you Kevin, for your Air Gap intake manifold, its only made for OBDII equipped vehicles but is stated that it can be modified for OBDI. what exactly needs to be modified and why would it be for off-road use only?

Off road use only is just a title that is put there to keep the government happy.
