Purp, it has to do with some recent complaints in 3rd gen about where threads should or should not be moved to. It has to do with some organization that DF really needs.

Let's all band together and really try to use this section so we can have easier to find answers for the new guys.

Seems there's about 3 new threads in the 2nd gen area today that should be moved.

I sure hope this catches on.

Thanks, Maxx...

As stated this is kinda for those posts that fall somewhere between the "Which actress has the nicest ta-ta's" threads (which obviously should be in OT) and the "how do I install a cam" threads (which obviously is of a technical nature). This sub-section is the perfect spot for a "how do y'all like my new wheels" type of thread.

We've had some issues where a lot of members have criticized that they simply have to sift through dozens of non-technical posts to find what they are looking for.

At the same time, some members will often complain vehemently when a post of his is either moved to OT or "buried" in a single OT thread within the tech section by a moderator because it is non-technical in nature.

These sub-sections are our attempt to find compromise between the two and as always, if anyone has any suggestions to make this forum better, please feel free to share...
