Legend Killer's Project Rampage
Nope, getting it from the local Carquest Auto Parts store up here. They sell it in the store kind of nice a guy doesn't have to order it just go in grab a can off the shelf and good to go.
Ok... so can someone tell me like how in the hell all these dudes use all these different smilies? Is there like a option or something to bring up all the different smilies we can use on the site?

The fast reply window doesn't give ya that option.
If you use the 'reply' or 'quote' button, on the right side of the window you type in, is a selection of smilies. If you click on the 'more' link at the bottom of that, it opens another little window that has all of them available.

Blingdom:

Might take the skull one to work tomorrow, and paint ''Legend Killer'' in black letters on the top. Might do black eyes and nose like the skull had before then red where the bullet hole in the skull was, depends how creative I want to be tomorrow.

Ok so small update: going to look at prices at some inner fender's. Mine are pretty rotten so I'm gonna check on some prices tonight. The bo is flipped over and the underside of the box is prepped for POR15. Can't get off of work tomorrow, so early next week I will be getting some other panels.
So here some of the latest pics. Tonight we got the left bed side skin hung on the truck. We moved the box inside the garage to work on it the next couple of nights. We used SEM glue to hold the panel on. So far it is doing very good, we will spot weld on this panel tomorrow night and then it will be done. So here are some pictures. Sorry about the blur, the camera lense was fogging up outside.
Just a picture so you guys could see the whole box POR15'd:

Rubberized Undercoated the inside of the box:

Use some of this Amber Rustproofing. The body shop guy at work recomended it, and said it is all he uses, and he has had excellent results with it. It remains tacky, and boy does it ever. Doesn't stay wet very long, but does remain tacky. So its worth a try.

I layered the inside where the wheel well is:

Came home to find that Dad got a good start on ripping the fenders off. Boy oh boy is this gonna be a bit more work then we expected, but could be worse. At least thats what I am saying for now lol.
So here are some pics of Dad's progress today:

So today I went to Browns in Two Rivers.
Bought two fenders and a hood. Got me two brand new doors from them as well for $300. One has two scratches on it and a minor pimple (can't call it a dent, barely even noticeable.) and the other door has a small pimple under the door handle. I'm pretty pumped up about that. Go next Wedneday to pick the doors up, they are going to hold them for me.
Anyways, on to a bit of progress for the evening.
Hood off:

Hood and right fender off:

Lots of room now!

Took the whole fender, and inner fender off so that we can drill the spot welds out and it a bit easier anyways.

More spot welds:

And also just a side note. The SEM glue held awesome. Nice and tight, need to get to the spot welding, got enough work to keep me busy until I get the doors next week. But I am very satisfied with the progress so far.

Very good! Alot of work has been made this week! So I guess it is safe to say you will also be getting a new front bumper too right? So how much more metal are you gonna strip off the truck before before you get around to prep and paint?
Don't have pictures yet, but I got both bedsides on the truck. Passenger side fender is off(as seen above) and replaced with the new fender. Just have to put it back on the truck. It was kind of interesting, and maybe noteworthy, that if you take ALL the bolts out from inside the engine bay, and the two that connect the fender to the cab the whole works comes right out. I did not know this when I was unbolting stuff. As seen in one of the above pictures, really makes the fender removal/install alot easier. Much easier to drill spot welds, and then do the welding when it is on a bench or saw horses, versus doing it with the inner fender still on the truck. Bought a rear bumper from David (over on PS) as soon as that comes I'll un-bolt mine and then mount his. So basically the back half of the truck will be completely done. A bit of tack welding on the box is left to do, but by no means anything major.
So weekend projects will be getting the fenders mounted and hopefully my new hood on. If I can finish tieing up these loose ends by next Wednesday when I go to get the new doors I will be very pleased! Unfortunately, tomorrow night I will not get any work done on the truck as I have a funeral to attend. And I work Saturday at the shop, so I am keeping my fingers crossed for this weekend.
Slick: Well doors still got to come off and the left fender has to come off as well. Those will be replaced as well. Alot of the truck will be new panels. I just couldn't see spending the money and taking the time to just patch it when I could actually FIX it. It has cost me enough money, but to me this has been worth it.
Surprisingly no I am not getting a new front bumper. That's just surface rust, it will be all good, with a bit of sanding. Plus I am debating putting like a Road Rhino/Road Armor bumper on it eventually.
The progress has been to me at least unbelieveable, it is coming around and is looking great. We hauled *** so far this week. By the end of September, beginning of October it should be painted.
Oh almost forgot to add, I also got the inner plastic fender liner's and the black plastic piece that goes over the front bumper re-painted tonight. Looks sharp.
