Well guys, after not being on for awhile(due to getting settled into college and not having a truck, obviously) I have a new truck!! Its a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L V8 Off Road Sport! Black. Only 90XXX and it only needs a new dash(cracked... ebay!) and some headlights(fogged up and Im just gonna drop in new headlights... also with the help of ebay!) which isnt too bad for $8000.

Ill post pics of the new girl when I get her within the next week or so.

Sweet! Just like your last truck, but a sport pkg. What color? Did you work out a deal with the insurance people, or did they completely screw you?

Great news!!! But I gotta know how you finally made out with the insurance company over the last one...

 

Definitely is some great news! Especially since we got her for $7900. Im going to hopefully post pics next weekend, since me and a couple buddies may go back home and visit.

Honestly, I dont know how everything all happened. Im just glad they didnt screw us over. They gave us around $7400-7500 for the truck? Im not sure I havent been able to call my familia since my phone took a duece.

But I just know that they messed up by saying they can "save" my truck, when well most of you know the story from the thread I posted awhile ago. But Im just glad to have me a truck again. Especially the one I found

Then Im gonna add my toolbox I saved from my last truck and tailgate liner. Im also gonna drop my sub and sony head unit it, which is sat ready and have that. Plus, I may put my billet grille inserts on it too, I may buy a new set though, since the one I bought you have to take the honey comb out and drill it into place.

The bad thing though is, is that the grille guard I bought wont fit the girl. I think Im SOL in finding one right? It seems like every grille guard I find has "DOES NOT FIT SPORT MODELS" somewhere lol

So, I dont know how I will be able ship them, but I have a set of tube steps and a grille guard that may be for sale.
