+1 on the overhead. My '95 has the temp/compass in the roof. My dad's 97 only has the cubbyhole though, so it was obviously optional.

12 grand for a 12v with 200k miles?
Is this guy smoking some major crack rocks?
If it was a 24v with about 140k miles then yeah...
But no, its a nice truck but I wouldn't want it...

Meh, people make too big of a deal about "high" mileage, my Dakota has 245,000 miles and my Bronco II has 256,000 miles, neither have any original drivetrain but the rest of the rigs aren't just falling apart. I do agree it's priced too high though..

Agreed. Mine's got 265 and still rolling. Plus, that thing is a cummins. With proper maintenance it's easily got another 200k left in it.

ON the motor, sure. What about the rest of the drivetrain? Manual trans at least.... clutches are a hell of a lot cheaper than auto trans rebuilds.....

12K is just way out of the ballpark. And sure, you start out 'high', but, not ridiculously so....... maybe the market in his area is so screwed up, he actually considers that 'reasonable'...... beats me.

Cash for clunkers failed in its intent on many scores, and gutted the used truck market. oh well.

Hahns yes if a truck is treated right high mileage doesnt mean everything is going to fall apart but usually(not always) people buy trucks with the cummins for work not just to have, so there is more wear and tear on the frame, springs, bushings, jointsand other parts of the truck and if not paid attention too at around 200k these things tend to all go at once, and unless your ready for it you can end up, upside down
