Great looking 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Ex. Cab Cummins Turbo Diesel with manual transmission. A lot of time and money has been invested in this truck and it shows. It can be driven anywhere and is in great mechanical condition. This truck is the Laramie model with overhead console featuring compass and temp, power windows and locks, power seat, and CD player. Everything works including a/c, heat, all gauges and lights, washers, wipers, trailer brakes, and trailer lights.

Right now the truck has 213,000 miles, and the engine has 60,000 miles. The original engine was KDP killed and the new Cummins Reman engine has all updates and a fresh valve adjustment and oil change. The engine is mostly stock with the exception of a 4" turbo back exhaust system. The transmission shifts smooth and a new clutch was installed about 15,000 miles ago. The front end was checked over when the 2" leveling kit was installed, and a Rad Industries large diameter adjustable trac bar was installed to center the front axle and eliminate death wobble. New Rancho 0-3" shocks were installed and the front end was aligned. We also installed new brake lines, rear drums, front wheel bearings, rotors, calipers, pads, master cylinder, and dump valve. Anything the truck needed it got.

The vacuum pump was rebuilt and a new power steering pump was installed. We also installed new u joints, and a new rear yolk. The rear end has new Rancho 0-3" shocks, and Air Ride load leveler 5,000 air bags that are adjustable at the back of the truck. I have receipts for all the repairs and they were done at the dealership. This truck is super reliable and safe for anyone to drive.

The wheels are Moto Metal 18x9 with 33x13 Nitto Terra Grappler tires with about 75% tread remaining. I've got as good as 22mpg and average about 17mpg. I have another truck on the way, and this one has to go.

GOOD GOD! i would not touch ANYTHING with over 200k! ESPECIALLY FOR 12 FRIGGIN GRAND i don't care if it is a cummins. the rest of the truck will fall apart in a couple years. god bless.. i hated cash for clunkers it drove up the prices on every single used car on the market. i saw a truck like mine but stock with 121k and it was a 97 and they was wanting 10K FOR IT. and people think "gee its a cummins so lets raise the price 5000 more than its worth" bah humbug im done

I agree, thats just rediculous. But what people ask for and what they end up getting for the truck are 2 different things. If he gets 12g's for that truck, please post the name of who purchased it, I have a few things to sell to that guy.

Nice truck.
A bit high price-wise, then again, down here you can't get much cheaper than that.
I would say about $7500.

BTW, the truck didn't come with overhead console as that showed up in 98 IIRC.
(I should know, I have the 1st gen of that.)
