what happened to Truck of the Month? are we still doing that? i thought since its holiday time we could maybe start one?

i had a 2 month absense, and dont know if anything happened then...but i just thought it was a fun thing to do and wondering what happened to it.

 

TOTM hasnt gone on in quite a while around here. I think they just didnt have the votes for it. Sadly, this place isnt what it was when I joined. I think alot of people are leaving for other sites. I havent seen alot of the regulars on in some time.

 

ive noticed as well.......but im stuck to this site....this place has helped me on countless occasions, i can't leave this place.

 

we started running a TOTM and a MOTM in may 2010 and it did great the first 2 months and then died out shortly after

 

We had more votes when we only had one 2nd gen section.

 

I'm a loyal DFer! Like 95 said, this place has helped me COUNTLESS times and I try to help others when I can. I haven't seen a site like this one for being so helpful and patient with the new guys that come in, and it's kinda like a little Dodge family here in our 2nd gen section


I think I made an account at DT like a year ago, but I'm pretty sure I have 0 posts there haha

 

This place is my home for forums by far. It definatley has had all the information I've needed for tech stuff. I have accounts elsewhere also, But I always come over here to DF. It's just sad to see all the helpfull posters leave the site over bs.

I do miss the friendly competition....I wish it would start back up.
The only reason it went to crap was that the comp was moved to the GD section, whereas before it was doing just fine under the tech section....but the mods have to make everything so 'organized'....

I SAY WE START IT BACK UP UNDER TECH!!!!!

....I don't wanna be the last one to win a TOTM in DF 2nd Gens....
