well, did you get a good burp outa the heater core?

And, I'm thinkin', the leaves on the ground behind your rig will ignite before too long, and then heat won't be a problem... for a while anyway..

It doesn't look like you've got enough lean there. Chances are pretty good that there was a bunch of air hanging around in the top radiator hose. You want to get the passenger side higher than the driver's so the filler is higher than anything else in the system, particularly the top of the top radiator hose.

I just did the same thing today with a good lean angle, and the heater went from warm as a corpse's fart to this:

Wow, now THAT is what I am looking for. I am going to guess this also requires the radiator cap to be off???? With the horrendous angle the truck was at, (doesn't look as steep in the pic, as it did in person...) I would be surprised if there were air bubbles ANYWHERE in the system. Radiator opening was a good foot above the heater lines at the firewall.

Might have to take another trip out there. Not like it is real far away......

The burpage requires the cap to be off, but the temperature was read at home with the cap on and the hood closed.

I'd guess that if you were to approach that same hill angled left at about 45 degrees (or at whatever angle causes the greatest tolerable butt pucker) it'd do the trick nicely. The goal is to get that upper radiator hose filled by making the filler higher than the topmost point in the upper hose. I poured about a quart/quart and a half in today, after burping at a less aggressive angle last weekend.

And that is PRECISELY what I was thinking. LOLOL The hill is STEEP. I can come at it from an angle, but, don't wanna roll the truck.... (that should get all the air out of the heater core.....)
