Question about 95 dodge ram

I just recently bought a 1995 dodge ram 5.9 liter with a 9 inche lift and 35 inch tires and i was wondering how do you guys think it would do in the stock gas class in truck pulling

you need gears and lockers

there is a guy in my town, reg cab short bed, d60's nice tires, all else is stock he does pretty well

That thing has got to look funny....and unless you upgrade some axles I dont think you will last very long

well i know it sounds kinda stupid asking this question but for being 16 and recently getting my drivers licence i wanna see what my dirty dodge has to offer in the truck pull it is a half ton regular cab with dana 60's 4 link coil over suspension 35' tires centerline rims 5.9 360 just recently put a throttle body spacer on it has a k & n air filter system true dual cherry bomb's leading out to 2 5 inch round exhasut tips
and i just recently switched brands my old gmc seirra wasnt doing the job so im gonna try this mopar thing out

Ummmmm sorry we couldnt get to you sooner but you might as well take of the throttle body spacer and return it while you can.....unlike your gmc a spacer will not affect performance other than by the added weight

Well the D60's are a good start for the mudding. a few questions for you though.

are you looking to put some money into the truck? And are tuners allowed?

thanks for the welcome and when i bought the truck it had the throttle body spacer on it already and truedge yes im willing to drop some money into the truck but im not quite sure what i should do performance wise and there is a stock class and theres a modified street legal class the guy before that had it had just gone through and redone the transmission and the transfer case and the drive shaft is custom made and is guaranteed not to break but other then that im kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place on what to do
