wish me luck, Getting some teeth pulled today.
Not afraid to admit i dont have the best teeth, and today, after 4 weeks of excrutiating pain, i finally am getting a few teeth out as well as 1 of my widom teeth.
But the problem is, is that the wisdom tooth broke through my rear molar and is comming through the root of the molar....very painful.....and since this has happened, the dentist told me there are risks with pulling the tooth. I told him that i didnt want to know i just want the teeth out.
But my appt. is at 9:45.......hopefully all goes well.

I had all four wisdom teeth done in '04. One bottom one was not only growing into the molar next to it, but the root was hooked into the jawbone.
They whacked some nerves getting that one out and I had lost all sensation from the back of my jawbone on the right side right down to my chin. Felt REALLY weird and the dentist said there was a 25% chance I'd never regain the feeling again.
Luckily within about 2 weeks after the procedure I started getting that "ants crawling all over" feeling you get when a part of your body "falls asleep". I thought it was 1000% worse than having NO feeling, but it was a sign the nerve was healing (which was regenerating as it can if it's not completely severed). After about a month, all was normal again.
Oh well, that's my rambling for the day.
Good luck.

Good to know it went well.... though you should have had them replace the timing chain while they were in there. My dentist did a full tune-up last week--I can chew soooo much more efficiently now, and I don't bite my tongue on every 4th bite, it also did away with that annoying vibration when my mouth was at idle.
In all seriousness though, glad your alright. I'm so happy that I was born without wisdom teeth, and will never have to worry about your situation.
