Hey yesterday i got pulled over and got a ticket for dumping smoke..
My question is can i go to court and fight the ticket and it be worth it???
I had my 35ish foot goosneck on the back with a load huge rocks for a walk way at my buddys house...

Depends on the laws in your area. If you were hauling a heavy load, with a diesel, I am not entirely sure what the cops expect...... perfectly clean exhaust? I would fight it, just on general principles...... but, that's just me.

 

oh trust me i want to i just dont want to get into anymore trouble but right know i really dont care this state trooper was being a straight ***hole i was gettin on the free way and the speed on the on ramp was 45 and the ighway speed is 70 i down shift and hit the gas and my truck had no problem but i through it into 4th and 5ht it was dumping some smoke. and then i saw lights

 

Sounds like your truck should be impounded and your license revoked.

 

even if you fight it and win (which you likely will), you get to pay court costs, which is the majority of the citation, I would wager.. It's all about the $$, my man.. Do you really think a cop takes 'dumping smoke' personally? If he does, he needs a life.. I'd guess it more likely that he pulled you because he has an expectation to write X number of tickets, and he is looking for a way to justify it to himself, so he works himself up to be all angry like..

go ahead and make your contribution to the state, so somebody who chooses not to work for it can watch tv on a 52" LCD, and deal with it.. Sucks, huh?

 

For what???? working??? Making a buck??? Helping a friend out??? yea sure does sound like my truck needs to be impounded and license revoked.
People on harleys were i live need there bikes impounded and license revoked for riding the line and passing people in a no passing zone when there all ready doin 5 over or (they try to pass me but it dont happen)

 

Just pay the fine.
You'll pay for it some way or another.

And don't dump so much smoke.

 

cort cost in my town are 20 bucks so not to bad but if i got as ticket for it then he has to go give all the big rigs around that dump smoke when they take off too same thing right??

 

I dont diserve the ticket tho and if it stays on the required i dont want some bull**** ticket on my required

 

Wrong place at the right time for you.

It was prolly easier for him to pull over a truck that is smoking while pulling onto the highway rather than trying to catch somebody doing 80.
