Nevermind I got a new cts it fixed my problem but my computers flashing codes for egr now. When I bought the truck they had closed off the egr valve...is there any tricky way to bypass the egr sensor so it won't show up in the computer?

 

I think the pcm looks for a change in engine speed when EGR should be functioning. You could repair the system....... it actually DOES help the engine run a bit better.
