Default Look what I bought today

I didn't buy it for myself, but my boss. I also know I'm in the wrong gen but, this is where I spend most of my time so I thought I would share.

He will be using the frame, engine, transmission, and axles for this.

What a great way to ruin an awesome Volvo. Why do people do swaps like that and call it good?

Just a little paint here, glass there, throw in a few tires and it'll be like NEW!!.
Yeah right. Hopefully nobody was injured/killed in that wreck.

Well, the guy that is having it done has the money to spend.
This is one of the other cars he had built.
This is a quote from his website about it "has taken his love of fast cars, and supercharged it. Not content with the vintage muscle cars that would make hot rod enthusiast’s blood race faster, he set about to create a new, high-performance breed of street car. His ride of choice isn’t a Bugatti or Lamborghini — it’s the essential “people’s” car — the Volkswagen Golf. What he loves most about his modified V-Dub is that it’s *******ly invisible to the owners of elegant European cars, until it leaves them choking on a cloud of dust.

Developed for Poor by HPA Motorsports in British Columbia, Canada, the Decathlon Raven is a competition street car with 500 horsepower and 475 ft. lbs. of torque, that packs a powerful punch in cross country endurance races. Based on a 2004 Volkswagen R32, the Raven chews asphalt at speeds in excess of 200-mph and clocks a near 3-second 0-60."

and this is the car
