towing mirrors

Default towing mirrors

hey i really like the flip out towing mirrors and i want to get a set of them i found them on ebay. will they bolt right on to my truck or is there some type of custom bracket i need?

You will need the brackets for the mirrors to work without serious vibration and some weakness, some brand of mirrors come with them included while others do not.

They will still bolt on, but you want the brackets.

Make sure you get the 2nd gen mirrors not the 3rd gen ones

my friend has a 2002 3500 cummins that is wrecked....would they have the brackets even tho the mirror were on the factory? cause i think i might be able to buy them off him for cheap

They should.... The second gen's went till 2002 on the 3/4 and 1 tons, so they should fit, and have the brackets.

You will never regret buying them, probably one of the greatest addons for the truck so far for me.

i like my mirrors now but i just like how the flip out towing ones look they look bad ***... plus i think i can custom fit some leds on to them for a big rig look

Check your local body part suppliers as well. I know the ones we sell come with the brackets. Our catalog even specifies that the 01+ mirrors can be used to upgrade 2nd gens. Most places will do over the counter sales if you go to them. I'll be snagging a set when the extra cash is there. The factory mirrors suck for visibilty.

the stock power/heated mirros i have do very well... i have no problems while towing 5th wheels and etc... i just want the flip out mirros cause they look bad *** on these 2nd gens
