My Newfie accent, throws em for a loop every time! They spend enough time trying to figure out what I'm saying for the judge to sentence them.

^ i like the Watch Cat.

to everyone else - be sure you know your state's laws on when you can and can't use deadly force. generally you CANNOT shoot a car thief out in the yard, irregardless of how bad the sob needs shooting.

Thankfully there is the new laws in effect, atleast for PA.. you are able to shoot anybody who poses a threat to you. So say someone walks up and has their hand in their pocket and asks for all your money and nobody gets hurt.. You are able to shoot them now!!!! its soooooooo nice.. IIRC its called the Castle Doctrine or something

I've got alarms on most of my vehicles I have to leave outside. I also put one of the do it yourself alarms on the house. When I'm at work the old lady has a 12 gauge mossburg maverick pump and 20 gauge Ithaca semi auto. She feels more comfortable with the shotguns. Other burglar deterrents include the ak47, Cz 75b 9mm, .38 snub revolver, ruger lcp, Springfield armory 1911 .45, Taurus pt945 ssprl. Hoping to add a kahr 40 Cal soon and a rifle to do some long range shooting. O I've also got a bow with some broadheads in case they're really slow and I don't want to wake up the neighborhood lol

I've always thought it would be priceless to see the look on some burglar's face when he sees my 1967 60# Ben Pearson at full draw with one of my purty home-made hunting arrows nocked. Don't make me stand here too long, boy, these old fingers get tired fast.

And with the cool raccoon fur puffs to keep it quiet the fool won't be able to jump the string.

Y'know, I used to be armed to the teeth. Until someone(s) broke in and stole my guns.
It was then I realized all the ordinance in the world can't protect you if it's gone.

SO for the next 3 years I played smart. Used several layers of protection in the truck to protect it it, and left nothing of value about when I wasn't in it or my dwelling. Didn't flaunt my **** or brag. And no, I didn't sneak about like a scared rabbit. Instead I developed a quiet awareness of my surroundings and a confidence that I could avoid trouble by common sense and descretion.
And it worked. My stress level from worrying about things I couldn't control went away. Col. Colt nor his buddies could never supply that.

Eventually all my stolen property was recovered.

SOmething that you should remember...even if you have a permit to carry, brandishing a weapon or discharging it outside may still have consequenses. The first thing a CCW instructor taught us is that every bullet has at least one attorneys name on it until it hits something. Then it could have many more!

The very last thing I would do is print on public internet forum that you have lots of firearms. While your at it, add some neon signs to your yard too!
