Default Home Protection

Well I figured I would start this due to something that JUST happend about 10 minutes ago. I was sitting back in the room and heard a car alarm going off. Sure enough the old ladys blazer was screaming. Grabbed my new smith and wesson sigma and headed out to find the passenger door was pulled on to be opened and set the alarm off. Got the alarm shut off and went and to grab the keys out of the Ram to find my door wide open.. Looks like I will have to keep an eye open during sleep. So my question is, what do you guys use for home/ vehicle/ self protection?

An AR-15 under the bed with a full mag in the desk nearby. Hope I never have to use it, but whoever is unfortunate enough to be at the business end will have some messed up knee caps.

The ar-15 was what i had before i turned 21. Now I added the pistol.. There is about 50 different guns in the household so its not really a smart idea to try and come in unwelcomed lol

No pictures and nothing majorly fancy here. Mostly hunting guns. 25.06, .300 WinMag, 30/30, and some older 20Gauge Shotguns.

After seeing what the .300 does to a deer, I'm sure close range to a human wouldn't be so pretty. And we use ballistic tip bullets.

My step father's brother actually had his apartment broke into while at work when he lived in Winston Salem, since then he's bought:

Ruger M-14 .223, flash suppresser, lipold mill dot scope Mossberg 930 tactical no plug 8 in pipe an 1 in barrel

and Glock 21,.45 w/ tac breach light, Glock 30, .45 sub-compact

It starts with a SimpliSafe alarm system, backed up when someone's home by various firearms. Oh, and this:
