Default Grab Handle and Steering Column Pod

Installed a driver side grab handle. With my leg problem I was pulling on the steering wheel too much. I used Silver's DIY. Thank You Silver. Only thing I did different, was instead of just a slot for the speed nut, I also drilled a hole to get the speednut clipped on in the opposite direction. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...installed.html Got the handle and some other stuff out of a 2001 with the same color interior (Agate). Nabbed a perfect condition cup holder too, if anyone is interested.

Also installed my vac gauge using the steering column pod.

Thanks, and it seems like it's ALWAYS my turn to hit the pumps. LOL

I was going to post this in the" What did you do to your ram today" thread, but I figured more people would see the link for Silver's grab handle thread out here. It works great, I pull all my 240 lbs sideways on the handle to get in , and it does not budge in the least.

stewie beat me to it, but i was gonna say that i think youre a little low on gas....but looks good! i need to get a vac gauge and a trans temp gauge still....

on a side not...i figured oout my t-case problem.... wasnt my t-case. when the u-joint on the drivesahft went south it cause the t-case not to shift. now that its fixed it works flawlessly. so as of now i dont need the t-case, but id be willing to buy the t-case saver off you.

OK, no problem on the TC. If you want the Saver, take a Sunday drive sometime. I'm glad I didn't install it. I took the tail cover off to put it on, but figured I'd wait till you got here so you knew it was installed.

Also back to the junk yard. The truck I found (2001) even has a perfect dash, lol. I didn't bring enough tools with me to take it off. (hoping it will still be there next weekend). It was also a 2500 with 4:10 D60's front and rear and T Case still in it.

My dash is fine too, but I wanted it. LOL Someone had already tried taking it out, but didn't realize you have to at least drop the column and lower the dash a little to get to the vent screws and gave up. Some how I don't think it will be there next Saturday. Both door panels are there too, with no broken clips. I wanted the whole truck, asked how much, off the top of his head he said 700. But I know it would be way lower. Motor was open and the keg with a blown plenum gasket was in the bed. LOL

The slider is gone and it has no wheels. It's getting raped quickly. It is a quad cab. I may go there in the A.M. and haggle.
