Pull it off from the windshield side

How do you like that steering column guage pod? I've been contemplating getting one but was afraid it was cheap quality or obscured my dash visibility since I depend on my windshield washer fluid light and such...

Hey, zman, that looks great. I went back and read silver's thread also. I was wondering if anyone has done this on the roof to allow easier accesss to the rear seat in a quad cab. Father in law (82 years old) has to struggle to get in.

Yep. In the front he keeps leaning over to look into the mirror - and the back of his head doesn't help me see who is going to hit me in the rear.....

Looks good. I have been thinking about putting a "Oh, S**T" handle on the drivers side for a while.

I like the vacuum gauge, too. Been thinking about one of those as well. How much did it cost you?

I have actually thought about a gauge pod for the pillar with a trans temp and vacuum.

Yes it's the Autometer pod. I got mine at Diesel Manor, but Ebay, Geno's and a lot of other places have them. It fit fine and doesn't block too much. And the gauge is a Glowshift 7 color series. I forget how much it was, I've had it for over a year(not installed), but they have a lot of stuff on sale right now.
