Question I need advice on tires

i have a 97 dodge with a 7" skyjacker and 3" body lift im currently runing 39X13.50r15 iroks i would like to go with somthing a little less aggersive due to the ride that comes with the others what is a good brand and a good size realy dont want to go under 35s

What gears do you have in your diffs?

i think 4.59 but im not sure ill have to look at the paper work that came with the truck

Bigger tires WILL affect your ride. Just the way it goes. I think there is a thread in the faq section on tires.... might wanna have a look at that.

ok correction it has 4.56 gears in both axles

Cool. 35's would be about the ideal size for that ratio. You could go 37's without too much trouble, you would lose some weight off the front that way.... (but, not as much as going to 35's...) Any aggressive tread pattern is going to give the loud, uncomfy ride. What type of off-roading do you do, and how much?

i ride a few trails every once in awile but there not to bad i take my stock jeep up it with no problems and i also do some mudding once in a blue moon

Go for a good A/T tire then. Not as loud, nice ride, and will still get you further into the rough than is really good for you.

im having trouble finding a tire that comes in 38x13.50 with the 15 rim do you have any suggesttions

That size, your pretty much stuck with mud tires. If you step up to 17" rims, you'll have a lot more options.
