Ram Body work
I am WAY too slow to do this for a living. I would have a shop manager on my **** all day!
Thanks, Wh1t3Nukle. Dent it up and bring her down! We'll fix er up!
Slipped off from the office a little early this afternoon (being boss has it's perks).
First coat of base on last fender. Finally got the crease fixed. Mainly out of frustration....and not wanting to have to deal with cutting inner fender away and rewelding it.

And here is is with clearcoat sprayed on!

Now to finish sanding clear so I can get it buffed out!

Well, I suppose it was inevitable. As I was runnung back and forth from the garage and the house to catch the Rangers slapping the Red Sox (18-3), I got in too big a hurry sanding clear and burned through the clear and the base.

Guess the next lesson will be patching and blending.....

Shoot. Well you gotta learn somehow right? And seriously, that thing is looking really good. Your patience will pay off, the end result will be a gorgeous 2nd gen.

The good news on this booboo.....there is one small dent ont he other side that was not noticeable until after clear. Funny how it sticks out like a sore thumb now! I was going to leave it instead of trying to go back and patch it as I was afraid I would not be able to do it and blend it in well enough. After I work on this one, I may have the courage to try the other. But after all, this project is a learning project as well, so even the error is no great loss, but instead, another learning opportunity!
