Well, my Grandfather always said " If you dont leave blood on it, its not your work".

Too bad its pretty damn true.

I always thought if I didn't bleed on a job, I wasn't working hard enough.

I usually don't notice cuts and scrapes till I'm washing up, but... I had a spark plug break once and the porcelain cut a 2" V-shaped slice out of my palm. The flat end of skin was still attached but it went deep. Of course, at the time my hand was black with grease and grit. The woman at the emergency room couldn't wait to use a scrub brush on my hand with no anesthetic. Too dirty to stitch so they just taped it and wrapped it. About 3 weeks later I squeezed out a couple of pieces of porcelain about the size of a large BB.

And a few months ago one of the techs where I work was standing near a heavy metal door going out to the detail rack when the wind caught it and slammed it. He had his hand in the wrong place and it took the tip of his middle finger off just below the nail. THAT was nasty looking. LoL

Bump for more blood!

I did this tonight. I am entertaining myself by moving my finger and watching the tendons move.

This is the worst I have that I took a Picture of. Cut my knuckle open sharpening lawn mower blades. Thing took forever to heal, every time you curl your finger it reopened the wound

Oh yeah it was with a hand held grinding wheel. I had to dig little bits of the wheel out of it
