Is 3" or 2.5" the max lift for the front on our trucks without having to get larger control arms?

I've seen people say 3" and I've seen some say 2.5", a member here is selling some diesel coil springs and I've love to ****** them up if they won't be too much, I know it will ride stiffer, but who cares, the price sure beats a 2.5" coil spring spacer.... even with shipping...
I wondered this too 3" is the max that will work but 2.5 will be a bit easier on the stock front end components from what I heard. with the 3" I imagine your front end wont have much flex offroad. (not that 2.5 will be much better)

Not so much a matter of flex, as it is position of the axle in the wheel well. The more you lift, the further the axle moves back..... after 3", you need longer arms to put the axle back where it belongs.

Then i believe 3" is max on stock control arms in your case. I probally wouldnt run more than 2" spacers on a 2wd to be safe. I didnt know diesel coils worked on yall 2wd fellars.

Yea i believe 2.5" is the biggest spacer thts safe for our trucks, on Hell Bent Steels site they dont even offer a 3" coil spacer, if they were safe they would probably be offered.

If they are 4x4 springs there not gonna work on a 2wd, and the most you want to go with a 2wd is 2.5"
