Hey i was watching this youtube video and this guy had a older model silverado, and it had a center console. i though to myself thats not right, so i PMed him on youtube and he replyed back that he took the center seat out, and took the center console out of a tahoe, and it bolted right in. i got to thinking, and was wondering if anyone on the forum, or if any of yall know someone that has put a center console in there truck. Cause i NEVER use my center seat and i cannot stand when the center seat is up as i rest my elbow on it when i drive.

 

There are a couple members that have custom made a center console for their trucks. One of them is pretty recent. Have a look at what they did, and see what ya think.

 

The Durango is much narrower than a Ram, so it wont work.

Although, a Silverado console swap would be sweet:

Hey some of them chebby parts ain't to bad (blasphemy I know). I'm in the process of making one. I'll have some pics of my progress up tomorrow. With some luck I'll be done by the end of the week. Just do a search for custom center consoles on this site and you should be able to see a few examples
