just a quick thought here and forgive me if its obvious or a dumb question, but if your throttle cable is stretched, can that play a role in someone's transmission shifting to early or too late? I know you adjust the tv cable for that, but if you aren't getting the full throttle motion (your pedal hits the floor before WOT), then to an unsuspecting person who doesn't know they're cable is stretched, they might mistakenly adjust their tv cable? Does that make sense? Maybe I'm thinking it through too much.

I understand what your talking about and yes it could throw you off. but then again its just all ran off of pressure, the tv cable says hey shift at this much pressure and the tranny does it or it doesn't and waits just depends on which way you adjust it. personally I adjust mine to where it stays in gear a little longer, I hate early shifts. I like later firmer shifts and I have never had a problem. the pedal cable has to have a little give in it though or else it would break.

if your un able to get your truck to WOT, I would check the pedal cable for sure. and just so you know the blades in the TB will never be a perfect straight up and down at WOT, when you move them by hand your actually moving it further than its supposed to.
