Looks like you're good to go once you've filled out the list. You probably won't need any of it, but if you bump into an emergency you're in as good a shape as you can possibly be without knowing in advance what the particulars of your emergency will be.

Travel safe and enjoy the ride!

What city you moving to? (Sorry if I missed over it somewhere)

Looking at the map, if your taking I20 all the way you'll drive through Augusta, Ga towards the tail end of the trip, be grateful you'll be on the interstate, Augusta is one screwed up city, the roads are always changing and the signage is TERRIBLE.

Oh jus gonna throw this out there, last time I went out west I was packin up tools and grabbed the sawsall and thought to myself; "what on earth could I ever use a sawsall for?" and left it behind. About 700mi from home my cat clogged up hardcore and i really wished i had a sawsall... so yeh, thats my story

MRE's are 7500 dehydrated calories.. he may need that sawzall to cut his anus open by the end of the trip..

and if you do resort to eating them, don't forget your gas mask.. there is no worse.. I once woke myself up zipped up tight in a sleeping bag, and subsequently woke everyone else in the GP tent within moments of my release..

get a mask for your dog too..

This is true. We ate them for a week straight in basic. Never pooped clay before...

List looks pretty complete. Just one question.....what is the "18 lb CO2 tank(need to get a regualtor and hose)" for?

Check air and all tires. Make sure spare is good!

You've just managed to make charlie rats seem good by comparison. At least charlie rats came with four smokes per.

Me thinks they're too young to remember charlie rats! (what does that say about us?)
