yeah my truck is valued right around 5500. so if i can buy 1000 dollars worth of tires that will last me till 200,000 miles i'd be happy. i'd rather do that then spend 700 in tires and then spend another 700 in tires when i hit the 180,000 mile mark when the truck is 15 years old and is valued at 3,000 dollars. just how i see it. and mopar man... http://www.walmart.com/ip/Goodyear-W...75R16/11983160 they were priced at 158 when i went into the store..

Are you sure that wasn't size dependent? Mine were $183 each. Heck, I could have gotten some plain jane Goodyear Tracker 2's for not much cheaper and would probably spin like a sumbitch in the mud.

My walmart they were size dependent. I got the 235/85R16's in load range E for deeper tread and longer life.

Tall and skinny. Good for snow and mud.

Damn, just bought a set of these last week...... I asked for a long lasting tire and this is what was recommended. I have found them to be a very hard riding tire but quiet.

Do you find them harder than hell? I've never had a tire like this where I can feel every pebble in the road? I can live with it but wow......

Harder tires = Longer lasting

Softer tires = Not so longer lasting

2+2 will always = 4
