Mine will be like these lights but black, and other custom touches

these are the housings I will use

Edit: will 15" rims fit on your truck I believe they changed the brakes around that time, so the smallest rim is 16s

I put black projector's on my Yota on Monday. Drove after dark for the first time tonight. They look good on a black truck in the daytime, but they suck. Low light output. Won't even eliminate truck shadow from street light behind truck. Coming back out this weekend. Hope the ones you are getting are better.

Gdstock, did you buy those lights or did your retrofit them? I believe the OP's idea is to do exactly what a previous member here did, and retrofit a professional grade projector into a reflection housing. Google "The Retrofit Source" and youll have all the info you need.

lol. looks like you bought the cheap lights with fake projectors. i was told those cases would be good if i was planning on modding them and installing real projectors but crap otherwise. i was told to go with something like this if i wanted better good quality lights. i think there may also be silver star H6054 sealed beam lights that are suppose to be brighter than stock.

The one on the right worked very well - brighter than the OEM sealed beams. Needed to change as a rock chip cracked one and it started getting crappy inside. The black one appears to have a thinner lens in the projector. I was thinking of looking at HID on Ram, but so many members seem to have problems with them. Can't really take time to experiment on Yota as its my DD. The ones you linked probably won't fit - Yota changed things between 95 and 96 (mine's a 96). I'll put the ones back in that I just took out for now and do some looking for Ram as well.
Thanks for the links.

From what I hear you can get a set of hid's that are a bit cheaper than the super nice ones and get a good set of projectors and your retrofit will turn out a lot better.

Might be a clue to check out the tons of other threads that talk about it.

I actually guarantee you that there are threads.
