Well, it's not a unicorn..............Sounds like it's a Ram 1500. Seems to me like it would work.....

(Just for clarity - a unicorn IS a mythical beast!)

THERE ARE TOO MANY MYTHICAL BEASTS ON THIS POST AND NOT A ONE OF THEM IS THE TRANSMISSION I NEED!

Boo. Hiss. Bah. Hum. Bug.

Thanks for the laugh though, I started cracking up!

I think I can get one for $750 rebuilt prior to shipping... trying to find a deal if you know what I mean... let me know if you all find something!

Thanks

$750 is probably not that bad. Shipping may be the issue depending on distance and crating. I saw a post about how few manual trannys were supplied in these trucks. But the nv3500 at $750 is cheeaper than a 46re rebuilt and lasts longer.

Won't answer my emails from many weeks ago

Chevy - and its in pieces.

Trust me, been through those, I've used www.searchtempest.com to look for most of my stuff. I appreciate the attempt! I just got an email from the Montgomery Alabama Pull-a-part, that a fresh dodge ram 1500 was placed on the lot... the only problem with pull-a-part is that you cannot call them... so I have to gamble a 2 hour drive to see if the ram is even a manual transmission... :\

I'm flipping a coin right now.

Coin flipped. Currently headed to montgomery alabama. ETA 2 hours.

I'm pulling a transmission today dammit, even if it isn't the one I need!
