I have a very foul taste in my mouth at the moment as I just ordered my rebuilt trans from man-trans for more than I wanted to pay!

Should be here in 3-5 days.

Good luck with your delivery! Mine was sposed to be here last friday, but that didn't happen. They assumed it was on the shelf, but being a Light duty NV4500, it wasn't. Anyway it's awaiting my arrival now, I just got the call.

I would think yours would be an in stock item.

My friend has a problem with his catalytic converter (per him)...future brother in law may have a blown head gasket in a 96 yota avalon....and I want to tear into both of the vehicles so badly! and I don't even know what im doing!

Hey safrantz, make sure you pull the shifter stub thingy out of the trans before you go to pick up your new one/drop off your core. I didn't do this, and thankfully was able to scrounge up a couple combo wrenches to muscle it out of there.

This might be common sense... I've never messed with transmisions before this truck, or ordered one, and I didn't know it wouldn't be there...

The part that the shift lever screws on to. It also doubles as the cover on top there.
