what gun/rifle do you have
lol well after some of the stuff that has happend at my house during some parties and they havent complained yet.. The worst one was when my buddy with a twin turbo cummins decided to hook chains with a friends duramax at 230am. And people were throwing quarter sticks around like they were sparklers...
Update time!
Really only been out two times since the last time I posted, and didnt put much work in; my job has been nuts as of late.
25 yards- 20 shots(buddy shooting at target with 22lr)

I should be getting out this week and shooting at 50yards, as the 25 yard I feel confident with now. I also got some new accessories!
1. Tapco Quad Rail with covers
2 CAA Vertical Grip
I also got a tactical bag and a front sight tool for elevation adjustments now! She looks like this currently, which is feeling naughty in my hands right now!
Love the grip, feels comfortable as heck.

I do! The first rifle I bought, the Chinese Type 53, has the sweetest trigger I used in a rifle so far, like REALLY easy, the Chinese variant is claimed to have the best trigger out of all the M44 copies.
The S&W has a HEAVY trigger compared to that Type 53. Still getting used to it! I only have had the AR out 4 times since I bought it....
I NEED MORE TIME!

Went to the SAXET gun show in San Antonio this weekend, walked around for a while looking for a Glock, but every one I seen was $500+! Being the cheap-skate that I am I could bring my self to pay full price for a gun.
So I finally found a private seller with a early 2nd gen Glock 22 police trade-in with a Gov/LE mag, He wanted $350 but after about 15 mins of talking and bullsh**ing each other I got him down to $300!
As I was filling out the proper forms for a back round check he started telling me the story behind the pistol.
He told me he was a old Glock armor and retired police officer, he had used this gun as his qualifying pistol twice a year at the range and it was also his personal off-duty side arm.
He also upgraded a few parts to help him with his aging hands such as a extended slide release and mag catch. He had recently installed a 8lb trigger bar and factory metal night sights.
The gun does have a lot of holster wear but he said about two years before he had the slide bead blasted, dura-coated and baked.
I was so excited after the purchase I could hardly watch as he walked me the through the field stripping of the pistol, showed me where to look for wear and many other things.
All these things he showed me, he didn't have to do (I don't even think he was supposed to cut the zip tie off and break the gun down) but he did and I was completely satisfied at the end of the purchase.
After I received the pistol I walked three aisles over and bought hard case to carry it in.
I then stopped at another vendor and bought a 2nd gen accessory rail and two 31 round magazines and 100 rounds of winchester .40 s&w in the white box all for $100.
Once I returned home I stripped the pistol down following a YouTube videos instructions, cleaned and oiled it. Took it out and fired around 40 rounds threw it with no problems, got back home cleaned it again (this time no video) polished the outside extended nub on the slide release and smoothed the Sharp edges on the mag release. I then removed the electors a polished the outside face just to give it a custom look.
Well here all the pics, sorry for the crappy lighting.

Oh yeah and the side of the slide is marked "CEDAR RAPIDS POLICE" I have not been able to determine a specific build date, I guess ill have to call Glock.
I was a little mad that the previous owner had the slide finished, it kind of ruins the look a little I think, but it still does its job.
Also I've already been looking for a factory 5lb trigger, but all the options are confusing me a little, like there is a 3.5lb, 5lb, 8lb, NY1 and a NY2.
On a side note those 31 round mag are a big pain in the a$$ to load! I think I'm just gonna invest in a couple more factory size mags.
