The kid at the counter rang the case up as 1 box of (25) shells, in fact it was 10 boxes of (25) shells, I did the math band it comes down two $0.02 a shell!

So today I'm going to go and shoot some clay pigeons. I also bought a whole case for $5
I have one of those police edition 870's..... holds 8 rounds and has a metal folding stock with the pistol grip and very short barrel... looks just like the one used in terminator 2.. mine is a lot different than yours...

Here's some pics of my sporterization of the m91

richards stacks... i think you can find it with google.... the bolt and safety were from gunsmiths on ebay... as well as scope and mount... and yeah the m90 is like musket length.... even after shortening it the rifle is still longer than most....it was fun... huber concepts makes custom trigger actions... thats next on my list...

actually some of the m44 carbines were just rearsenaled shortened m90's...my m44 is much shorter than my hunting rifle...

Stocks

http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/Boyds-...ocks-s/172.htm
Finished and in stock

http://rifle-stocks.com/
Unfinished and takes months to get, they don't keep them in stock, they are made to order

Bolts

http://www.mosinnagant.net/boltman/boltman.html
This is the guy who does allot of business on ebay

http://www.amazon.com/ATI-Mosin-Naga.../dp/B000O7D2XG
The bolt handle isn't great, if installed the way they suggest it works but feels sloppy

scope mount

http://www.amazon.com/ATI-Mosin-Naga.../dp/B000O7D2XG
Good mount, perfect position for me but it limits bolt options.

I went with a boyds stock because pigs where getting bad and I didn't want to wait 5 months for a stock but I may order one from Richards in the near future. I used the ATI scope mount and bolt handle, instead of bolting on the bolt handle, I welded it instead after angling it back a little more.

That is pretty sweet, but I like the character of the original stocks. I like history bro! Next weapon is US ARMY M1911...

Yeah, if I were going to butcher one of my Mosins, it would be the M44. It already has a perfect hunting rifle length. All of my Russian guns are in pristine shape. I bought both my Mosins at Big 5 sporting goods and their selection was all A grade.

You can't go wrong with either shotgun. Easily the two most popular pumps on the market so parts and add-ons are plentiful. Never had an issue with my early 1970's 870 Wingmaster and the only issue I've ever had with my Mossy 500 was the thumb safety broke (very common) but it's a $10 fix...

It's a Tapco T6 stock in a uber-rare digital camo finish, I bought it off of a gun forum that I visit frequently for half price!

That's a pretty slick stock. Thinking of getting a new stock for my M44, half tempted to re-finish my original stock as the clear coat is coming off, needs a light sanding and then couple coats of clear. Just don't wanna take away from the value of a all matching numbers M44.

How much do they run regular price?
