Default How can I fix peeling circles of clearcoat?

How can I fix these 2 circles of peeling clear coat before it gets any worse? I don't know why they are peeling.. The hood and top of the truck was painted 5 years ago.

That would be the best way. Could possibly blend it but its not worth the work and might not work out too well. Just repaint the whole thing and be done.

Depends on where you have it painted. Good quality paint and clearcoat will last a long time if maintained. Also has to have proper prep. A buddy of mine is going to school to do paint and bodywork. The school is painting my trans am for $800. Pretty cheap IMO for a color change, some custom work, all trim, wetsand and buff. They want to use Nason which I'm not a big fan of but it's supposed to be ok. That's what he's used so that's what he's comfortable with. The next cheapest quote I got was $2800.

Hood alone should not run more than $200 to $300, including base and clear and buffing.
