dana 60 rear will it work?

Yes they did, and they are stronger than the dana's as well. First of a Dana 60 and corporate 9.25 are pretty comparible in strength. The only advantage the 60 has is no c clips. The front axle is where your problem would lie, but if you don't drive like an idiot and take of it it will hold 37's. I've seen people run bigger and not break a thing and seen em run smaller and break everything. It's all on your driving style.

I'm seriously thinking of changing my rear axle for a 2500 axle-I DON'T CARE ABOUT 2 DIFFERENT WHEELS! Have you completed the install on this? Can you tell me what you encountered installing the rear axle? Did you switch to 2500 leaf springs? Is the ABS/Speed sensor in the same place or even the same part as the 1500? UPDATE PLEASE!

As I mentioned I don't care that I'll have 5 lug in front and 8 lug in the rear. I want to know what issues were encountered with the install. I did the same switch on my 82 F150 ten years ago and it was bolt off, bolt on. I think a newer vehicle will have some challenges the Ford didn't have. Used 2500 wheels and tires are dirt cheap around here-much cheaper than 1500 wheels and tires. That is why I don't care about the different lug pattern.
