Weekend project, CAI and E-Fan Shroud

Is the thermometer on the drivers side near water inlet? If it is on the other side, water is already cooling before it sets. The difference you are seeing is the temp at engine and temp at radiator. I had to move it around on my Jag to get it to cut on when I wanted.

No its as close to the inlet as it can be, upper right corner if your facing the truck from the front. I know tapping into the actual tubing or engine would be much better but theres no pre formed places to tap in like on my friends trucks. So I decided not to deal with that kind of temperature switch. But my gas gauge is quite a bit off too on my truck so Im blaming the accuracy on the factory gauges, haha

For the bottles I had just cut off the mounts from the original fan shroud. But I felt like it took up too much space. So right now they are still just ziptied down and outta the way. And the fans are 14 inch pro comps. Relatively cheap fans and claim to draw just under 15 amps. (I haven tested it so I can't Prove that) but they have a surprisingly good airflow for their low amp draw.

Mainly because the only difference between 99% of the CAI's out there on the market for our trucks, only benefit is, they might flow a bit better. They are still drawing air from the EXACT same place as the factory system.

My Efan set up definitely keep my radiator cooler than te stock fan ever did. Cause I sealed that fan shroud up as tight as possible. Plus my trucks practically a Prius with that .5 mpg gain that I achieved. Lol. But more importantly it make my engine bay look sick. If all that means I haven't done squat by adding the fans then I don't know what anything means anymore.
